Terms and Conditions


ORDERING OFF THE PEG STATIONERY AND SKETCHES

Please allow at least six to eight weeks for your stationery to be produced, however for your own peace of mind allow as much time as possible .Sketches take up to four weeks. Orders can be placed by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , over the phone with any major credit card, by post to Rebekah Daley Ltd, 18 Heol Awel, Abergele, Conwy LL22 7UQ or by using the downloadable order form on the website.

Once you place an order a date will be agreed and we will advise you of when we will need additional information. It is important that these dates are adhered to, as we must respect the dates for our other clients.

All items required should be ordered when the original order is placed.  If orders are placed in stages we cannot guarantee continuity of design and discontinued materials. It may also delay your order as all our Envelopment card stock is imported from the U.S. Therefore we highly recommend that your order includes all your stationery requirements and that you order a sufficient quantity of ‘spares’ to allow for such things as mistakes, extra guests, keepsakes and the like. We cannot be held responsible if subsequent orders cannot be fulfilled due to discontinued materials.

PAYMENT

To secure an order a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total order is requested. Orders will not be processed without receipt of deposit. Where the order is below £250.00 we require the full payment when the order is placed.

Payment of the deposit is understood to be acceptance of these terms and conditions. Orders of over £800and all couture orders are entitled to free postage and packing. Table plans, however, incur an additional delivery charge of £10.00 Any orders cancelled less than six weeks before the wedding are liable for full payment. If the order is partially cancelled we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee to cover the cost of materials and/or work in progress to date on the cancelled portion of the order. The outstanding balance is required before your stationery is dispatched and will include delivery charges if applicable. We will let you know about these upfront. Payment can be made via bank transfer, over the phone with a credit card or cheques made payable to Rebekah Daley Ltd

All goods remain the property of Rebekah Daley Ltd until paid for in full

OUR STATIONERY

All of our stationery is fully handmade and therefore the client accepts there maybe slight variations between products. If product specifications from our suppliers change we will offer you an alternative of the same quality without an increase in price, unless you choose an alternative, which may result in an increase in cost.

SAMPLES

The first sample of invitation cards and RSVP cards are free.  Any other further samples are available at cost price and are fully refundable against any order placed.

PROOFS

You will receive full electronic proofs of all items ordered and we can sometimes also send hard copy proofs of invitations depending on timescales. While we take every care in producing your proofs it is the clients responsibility to proof read any text prior to printing. Please ensure that you thoroughly check all details are correct and you are happy with the design. You will be e-mailed a proof form to sign off each stationery item. If changes need to be made to any stationery we do need to be informed in writing via e-mail or post. Any additional changes of guests’ names on table plans need to be added to the full original guests list for the plan. If any changes are made to an order where the work has already taken place, additional charges will be made.

Once we have gone to print no more changes can be made and the item will have to be paid for in full..

DELIVERY

Delivery to a UK or international address will incur a fee, dependent on the weight of the parcel/s.  Table plan delivery costs an extra £10.00 All orders posted will be by Royal Mail recorded delivery. For an additional payment special nest day delivery can be arranged which insures in the event of loss . All orders are carefully packed to avoid damage in transit. Rebekah Daley Ltd cannot be held liable for goods lost or damaged in transit and shall not be responsible where any failure or delay in delivery is due to circumstances beyond our control. Rebekah Daley must be notified of any damages within 24 hours of receipt.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND COPYRIGHT

The Site and its content and all our samples are protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright and trade marks, as detailed in our Copyright and Trade Mark Notice. Except as expressly authorised by us you agree not to copy, download, adapt, alter, modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works of any content of the Site or any samples sent in whole or in part.


COUTURE STATIONERY ORDERS

CONSULTATIONS AND FEE

This service includes a telephone and/or email consultation. At present we do not have consultations at our studio. During this consultation we will talk through your ideas at length and go over the process with you in full. After this consultation we will send you a brief for your perusal detailing the designs we are going to produce for you. You will need to sign this and send it back to us.

There is a minimum charge of £150 for this service. £150 would cover just one sketch designed.This one sketch can be used for all your stationery. Extra sketches will incur a further charge. After the initial consultation we will make all charges clear and an invoice will be sent with the brief.

QUOTES

This service includes all free written quotes. Quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to sight of final text/maps/illustration requirements.

WORDING

Text for stationery cards and table plans should be typed clearly in a Microsoft Word document or email and emailed to Rebekah Daley.. Please type in upper and lower case as required, regardless of your chosen typeface.
Text not provided in the format referred to above may incur an administrative fee and will delay your order.
Rebekah Daley Ltd is not responsible for typing, spelling or other errors in the text you have supplied.

PROOFS

We will provide you with 3 sets of proofs (2 rounds of changes) for this part of your order for your approval before printing. If you change your sketch requirements at any stage after you have placed your order this will be classed as a new sketch and you will be charged in full for this, as well as for any previous sketches.

Proofs will be emailed to you as a black and white jpeg file. At our discretion we may be able to provide you with colour proofs. However these will not be an exact match to your finished stationery due to the different printing methods involved.
You must print this file, check it and ensure that you print your proof at the correct size. You should list any changes, in order, clearly, in a Microsoft Word document or email and email them to us (please refer to the proof we should make changes to by its file name).
When you are satisfied with your proof(s) you will need to sign the e-mailed print approval from and send it back to us. Once this has been received we will send your order to print.
If you make any changes to your proofs after your approval to print has been received you will be charged for these on the basis of time spent plus any costs incurred by Rebekah Daley Ltd
Rebekah Daley Ltd cannot be responsible for any errors in your stationery not spotted by you at the proofing stage.

All designs remain the copyright of Rebekah Daley Ltd and are not to be reproduced or transmitted in any form, by any means.
We reserve the right to offer any designs we have created for you to other clients and to use them on our products/advertising/marketing.
Should you wish us to assign copyright we can discuss your requirements with you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have obtained all necessary consents and permission in relation to any images, photographs and text that you ask us to include in your stationery.

DELIVERY

We will deliver your order to you via an overnight or same day courier or postal service. Delivery is free for all couture stationery orders except for Table Plans which are an extra £10.00.
Deliveries will need to be signed for upon receipt.

MARKETING

We reserve the right to use any couture stationery we create for you to promote our products and services. However we never publisize any couture stationery before the client’s wedding has taken place.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

While every effort will be made to meet demands; cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other causes beyond the control of Rebekah Daley Ltd.
